About this shot

Colour Accounting is a finance and business skills workshop using a unique visual, colour-based system to make accounting easy to understand. We can’t quite believe it either, but it's actually fun too.

By the end of the day you'll be able to read & analyse financial reports and understand 'Business Finances' & 'Value Cycles'. You’ll also be more confident discussing financial issues, and be better placed to take forward any plans you have to start your own business, explore your entrepreneurial side, or simply get a head start on your business or accounting studies.

Alongside all of this you’ll get to experience being on a university campus for the day, learning from the same experienced educators that teach our undergraduate students.

You don’t have to be a financial genius to attend this workshop, in fact, you don’t have to have any accounting experience at all.

This workshop is led by Toby York ACA. Toby is a qualified chartered accountant, accredited Colour Accounting trainer and a lecturer in finance and accounting at Middlesex University, with expertise in financial accounting, audit and assurance, and financial statement analysis and valuation. He also provides consulting services to owner-managed businesses.
